Thinkings Events

Southern Exposure in San Francisco presented the discussion series for Thinkings in the Fall of 2010.

Over the course of three evenings, participants worked through concepts that are crucial to understanding the computer's significance: the automation of variation, the automation of the sublime, and the automation of the image itself.

The book produced for the series is meant to focus attention on these visual aspects of computational culture and to stimulate discussion.

The book can still be purchased through Blurb.
